SELF DRIVE EXPERIENCE PERTH:

(Tour EP01) Self-Drive Perth & Fremantle

ITINERARY

Day 1:
Accommodation: Perth (your choice of Hotel or Apartment)

Drive through the City of Perth town centre through to East Perth. Visit the Perth Mint to experience the history of gold in Western Australia. Travel along Adelaide Terrace and St George's Terrace to Kings Park Botanical Gardens. Go through the Park towards the west end and left onto Thomas Road, University of Western Australia and see Matilda Bay and the millionaire's parade of Nedlands, Dalkeith and Claremont to Peppermint Grove & Mosman Park. Next, travel to Cottesloe Beach and finally to Fremantle. Return to Perth City by the scenic Stirling Highway on the northern side of the Swan River or Canning Highway on the southern side of the Swan River using Kwinana Freeway.

(Tour EP02) Self-Drive Swan Valley Wine Region

Day 2:

Depart Perth by travelling on the Great Eastern Highway towards the historic town of Guildford. Visit the many historic buildings there including Woodbridge House. Travel along the Great Northern Highway or the 32kms West Swan Road (down Swan Valley Drive), to visit the many wineries such as Houghton and Sandalford Wineries. Also, visit The Margaret River Chocolate Factory, Mondo Nougat, Maalinup Aboriginal Art & Craft Gallery, The River Retreat Outback Show or the many restaurants and Boutique Brewery. Lastly, visit the Caversham Wildlife Park situated in Whiteman Park to encounter the Australian native animals Kangaroo and Koalas.

(Tour EP03) Self-Drive North of Perth

Day 3:

Travel west to join the West Coast Highway along the northern beaches to Hillarys Boat Harbour. Visit the AQWA Marina where you will see many different varieties of marine life that exists along the 12,500km of Western Australia's coast as well as the nearby Hillary's Shopping Complex with its many shops and restaurants.

If you have plenty of time left you could drive further north to the fishing village of Lancelin to experience the white sandy dunes and towards Yanchep to visit the Yanchep National Park. On your return journey back to Perth, why not travel inland making a stop at the Gingin Observatory Centre? You can learn about the universe and have a star gazing night at the centre!

(Tour EP04) Self-Drive to South of Perth

Day 4:

Travel south on the Kwinana Freeway towards seaside coastal resorts of Rockingham & Mandurah. On your way down visit MacNuts Factory in Baldivis. In both Rockingham and Mandurah you can enjoy a cruise of the bay to encounter some friendly dolphins. Visit the Abindon Miniature Village in Pinjarra before heading back to Perth.

(Tour EP05) Self-Drive to the Perth Hills

Day 5:

Travel to the Perth Hills situated east of Perth and visit the Mundaring Weir and Canning Dam, our main water supply. Take a drive through the residential suburbs of Kalamunda and Lesmurdie, passing the Bickley Valley Wine Trail and Perth Observatory to Kelmscott & Armadale. Make time for a visit to Araluen Botanic Garden situated in Roleystone and stop at any orchard farm along the way to buy some fresh fruit in season prior to making your way back to Perth.
